Dr. Christine Barton Graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Barton Has one office located in Wilson North Carolina.
Specializing in the field of Internal Medicine, Dr. Barton is prepared to provide care to adult patients suffering from a wide range of illnesses and diseases, ranging from the very common to the very rare. Dr. Barton is also trained in general medicine, and is capable of treating patients for diseases that have overlapping symptoms or complications.
Dr. Baio graduated the University of Miami Medical School in 1983. He stayed there and completed his residency in internal medicine. He subsequently became board certified in internal medicine.
In 1986 he and his family moved to Wadesboro, NC where he was a member of the Health Corps for over 3 years serving in a physician shortage area. In 1989 he and his family moved to Wilson, NC, which they now call home. During the past 23+ years he has been practicing internal medicine. Back in 2008 the medical community began to link heart disease, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol to obesity. It is at that time he decided to explore bariatric medicine. Through the American Society of Bariatric Physicians he found that the practice of bariatric medicine is based on sound principles and science.
In September 2011 he became board certified in bariatric medicine, by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. As of September 2013, he is one of thirteen doctors in North Carolina that is certified in bariatric medicine and the only board certified doctor east of Raleigh.
Dr. Richard Burdick graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1975. He did his internal medicine residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia from 1975 to 1980. He served in the Navy until 1985 when he moved to Wilson joining the Wilson Clinic. He has been with Wilson Medical Associates since 1992.
Specialized in the field of internal medicine, Dr. Burdick is prepared to care for the entire adult patient suffering from a wide range of illnesses, ranging from the very common to the very rare. He is well versed in preventative medice as well.
Dr. Burdick is married to the former Janet Dearth. They have two sons, Chris and Mark, and a daughter Michelle.

Meg graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2017. Prior to earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree, she served the citizens of Wilson, NC as a paramedic. Meg is a Wilson native who decided to pursue her passion of healthcare after working as a Certified Public Accountant in Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL. She has interests in preventative medicine, educating and empowering patients to take charge of their health, and treating diseases of all types.
